How can I block out UI elements?

For regular elements:
Please read our User Privacy Tutorial

Note: for Swift the syntax is a bit different:

Appsee.markView(asSensitive: myView)
Appsee.unmarkView(asSensitive: myView)

For Web Views:

iOS

Appsee automatically hides text fields contained in UIWebViews. To unhide a specific text element, you can add the 'appsee-ignore' class, i.e.:

class="appsee-ignore"

To hide a specific element, such as an image, add the 'appsee-hide' class, i.e.:

class="appsee-hide"

Android

You can simply call the appsee.pause() method to block out the recording once the user enters a sensitive area, and appsee.resume() once the user leaves the sensitive area (see our SDK API Reference).
